Notice Board
The new notice board is now up in the sports centre corridor. Please can you check the board on a regular basis. If you have any notices or information for the board please contact Lynette Carter during training sessions.
Gift Aid
Some of you will be aware that we have applied to be a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC). One of the benefits of being registered as a CASC is that we can claim gift aid on donations, so that means we get an extra 28p for every pound that is donated! The weekly training money collected is viewed as a regular donation to the club and so we are asking everyone to fill in a gift aid declaration form to allow us to claim from the Inland Revenue. Fortunately we can back date the claim for donations covering the last 4 years. When we are fully registered, Nicki will issue a statement to each person who has returned a gift aid form to show how much the club will be claiming from the Inland Revenue based on your donations in each tax year.
